Why doesn't the Revenue search function show who provided the revenue to the state?
The state's largest single revenue source is income tax revenue. All information regarding income tax receipts and refunds is protected by state law and cannot be disclosed. For fees, fines, and other revenue sources, the provider information is normally retained by the state agency or institution and may be available under an open records request.
